Stump Grinding

After tree removal or for pre-existing stumps, it can be requested that the stump be ground instead of leaving it low to the ground. In the stump grinding process, a specialized machine will grind to approximately 4-6 inches below surface level turning the stump into woodchips. Those shavings will then be raked back into the hole by a member of our crew where those shavings will decompose over time. These shavings are purposely left on site by our crew.

Some benefits to stump grinding can included making the mowing process easier and for aesthetics of the yard.
